 After the US Midterms, Will the Iran War Resume?

Analysts expect a new round of fighting between Iran and the US and Israel soon after the US midterm elections on November 3. According to CNN, the US military has prepared plans for major strikes on Iran if President Trump decides to go ahead.

The two allies appear to want different things. President Trump has said he wants to end the conflict and bring down gas prices at home. Israel’s caretaker Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is widely seen as favoring a longer campaign. He recently declared that Israel aims to topple the Iranian regime.

An American attack on Iran - and its outcome
